Peoples have always made up their own names for other peoples, and compared to Elves the Bobbins are...little, in terms of size, lifespan and outlook anyway. Besides, Elves ended up getting called ‘fairies’ by modern folks.
Good that Walker found a friend, but I fear treachery may be in the offing, either from one of Tapper’s friends or maybe Walker’s. There’s always a betrayal.
Comparing Malrond and Walker and remembering what Frodo said when meeting Strider: the Enemy’s people would look fairer and feel fouler, while Strider looks foul and feels fair.
I like how information about the world is still a little inexact despite an omniscient narrator. News and gossip all a lot of people have to go on. I think more storytellers are needed. Do they take Bobbins? (Tapper might ask)
A lost fleet on the western sea? A bit... dude, that whole sequence is gold!
Need to reread that part, was it a recent thing?
It was about in the middle of the chapter. I about died laughing because it summed up thr Bobbin view on going out and adventuring in the world
maybe my mistake but didnt see a lock on here (insider indicator)
thanks for bobbin'ing. starting to hate the elves for calling them littles.
good run here. really builds suspense as well as hints at naivete of the taptap.
had comments about the last chapter but the infantry has been out of hand lately.
looking forward to hearing more from you.
also wanted to verify you've received the proton mail channel coms.
i'm amused that you somewhat distil your characters with their nicknames.
i am not so secretly hoping that guthbert taught tappert some extreme quarterstaff mastery.
Q staff FTW! Yes receiving proton mails just need to remember to check them. Been busy getting done new things for GE implemented
