I tend to agree with you on the War on Terror Nick. What I hate is how the government gave themselves a ton of power, but did a fairly half-assed job of stopping domestic terror and running the wars overseas (no disrespect to the guys and girls who did the hard work on the ground). It's really trendy now to say it was all wrong (including the invasion of Afghanistan immediately post 9-11) because of the bittersweet and mismanaged withdrawals under Obama (from Iraq leading to ISIS) and Sleepy Joe. And now all that power has been cynically coopted by the corrupt deep state to use against their (real) domestic opponents. I am typing this as I listen (so it sounds like you are addressing this in the podcast). (I used a lot of parentheses in this comment.)
