The latest tactic is suing for mask and Vax mandates, saying that the non masked are causing fear in the masked, and that violates the masked civil rights.

Two weeks from now, not being jabbed will be a hate crime.

I never thought I would be sent to a camp because of a face hanky.

One thing I missed when sharing my friends thoughts on the vaxx. It tied into the conspiracy theory on life insurance companies being over leveraged and unable to meet their payouts predicted for 2030. So they need acts of god outs for a mass die off, or they'll go broke. I guess they didn't keep back enough liquid capital when the upper echelon paid themselves.

Stuff they are doing now makes no sense. In schools they basically gave in to mask mandate because if a kid tests positive and they aren't wearing a mask, the school admin has to jump through hoops with contact tracing, etc. If a kid tests positive and IS wearing a mask, they don't have to, or they don't have to do as much. Makes sense right? It's science! Ugh.

I keep meaning to mention that I follow Nick on the Tweeter and I really enjoy Nick's re-tweets of paintings. They provide a nice respite from the craziness there. So, thanks!

The fact that you're so willing to be wrong inspires greater confidence in your reporting of the facts. I also hope you're wrong concerning the vaccine. But, even if you are, I don't think you would be discredited, since you're just voicing legitimate concerns.

As far wokeness in entertainment goes, my wife and I vet every single movie or TV show that our kids watch. If there's even a hint of progressive agenda in it, they don't watch it. We adore our children, and their innocence is precious. We know that, one day, their innocence will be shattered by the reality of the world, but we will not be cause of it.

Another great podcast! Enjoy your week off!

I've had to start doing that as well. We were all collectively asleep at the wheel for too long.

Agreed. Several years ago, I found a DVD set of a show I used to watch in the 90's. It was specifically geared to teenagers: one of those shows we imported from Japan. All of the monster fighting segments were, of course, fine. But the parts with the teenagers were terrible! I was thoroughly disillusioned with this show. Just goes to show how much completely skips over a kid's head but completely smacks you in the face as an adult.

By design, I suspect.

Oh, for a fact. I remember a comic writer once remarking that the best kid's comics incorporated humor that adults would appreciate. Now, he was referring to more clever jokes, not crude jokes, but I'd say the principle still applies.

I shall link to the podcast as requested. It's the cool place to be for all chats nerdy and irreverant! We discuss sci-fi and fantasy, so come check us out! And mostly we stick to books but other mediums creep in sometimes!

It is quite the fun podcast! Even if sobriety is usually ignored . . . it's a feature, not a bug!

Great stuff on the podcast! I got the J&J jab a couple of weeks ago after a lot of research. Wasn't wild about getting the vax but definitely wasn't going to get the mRNA version for all the reasons you mentioned and more. I had to call 30ish pharmacies in my area (Fort Worth-Dallas area) before I found someone with the J&J shot. Found that really interesting. Will definitely NOT be taking any "booster" ever, period.

So Nick, when are we going to get more CrimsonHawk/D&D with you and Epic DM James Ward?

i would pay for this movie experience, and walk away satisfied and entertained, but also with a sense of community (which I have never actually had, living in commie town, since even at a gun range, you never know with whom you can speak freely unless it's a calguns or other gathering).

missing being at a place where i could comment after listening. glad you're still going. Thanks for the good work.

Also, please still save me a copy of ctrl-alt-rev (signed) to buy from you when you've got the box.
