You help them by joining the civil disobedience. You help them by preparing so you can lend a hand when it all comes crumbling down. So prepare for what is coming, it'll be the thing that saves us all.
I would suggest that china could easily take taiwan by force, but....
Xi wants to do things peacefully, and is willing to play the long game.
Xi has encouraged Taiwanese business to invest in Chinese enterprise along the coast.
Xi loves China and the Chinese People, and he considers the Taiwanese island and people to be fellow Chinese.
I don't think Taiwan has any hot war issues to worry about, **right now**. I definitely believe that Xi and the PLA sees an opportunity, but I believe they won't take it because it would make them international enemies, unless the Taiwanese don't fight back (like afghanistan).
Soros and the (((persecuted))) neo-lib/neo-con trotskyites already tried to angle for China and were turned back by the CCP.
It's rumored that Russia has the best super/hypersonic missile tech. Our best bet in the China Sea would be to make really good friends with an increasingly Christian Russia, and buy their missile tech to kill Chinese boats from Australian boats/bases (if there were a hot war)
I saw some non-compliant dude from ucla on my parents cable news channel, and i would take a bet that some "brilliant" enemy is going to say "hospitals are in trouble because of holidays, shipping containers, and covid" when its because all the MDs and nurses are quitting rather than be poisoned.
Another one, this time an issue for veterans. They're trying to criminalize veterans with PTSD so we lose our gun rights etc. Veterans are considered more of a threat than Antifa. How frakked are we?
Another factoid pointing towards the Kill All Humans crowd... fertility issues is becoming more common for GWOT veterans of both genders. Add that to the adverse reaction to the vaxx and it is starting to create a pattern we can't ignore.
This sket sounds nefarious, but if it were my kids heads would roll. Metaphorically, of course. But they gave kids COVID jabs instead of the flu shot. All from the same chain pharmacy store.
I think the only reason China hasn't moved on Taiwan is there will be really bad side effects. First, I think all the neighbors will immediately arm themselves publicly with nukes - Japan, South Korea, maybe Singapore, etc. China doesn't want that *at all*. And I bet Japan and South Korea could have functioning nuclear weapons before the end of the week, they just haven't done it. Second, China is probably weaker that she appears. There was an interesting book from the 90's called "The Coming War with Japan". The author was completely wrong on the country, but I think the analysis stands with regard to China. That country cannot feed itself, power itself, and is a completely export-based economy. In order to shut down China, you just have to stop shipping. ANYWHERE... You don't have to hang out near China itself, just sink every merchant ship anywhere in the world that goes to China. How long can they hold out? They aren't dirt farmers any more - how much privation would they put up with? Would the USA be hurt by that? Oh yes, definitely, but it might force us to make our stuff HERE, so it would be a good thing in the long run.
Love, love, love the podcast - bought a second sub for my wife back at the beginning and we always have a great time discussing your topics!
Excellent points, all. And yes, we could win any global war... if we had the internal fortitude to do the hard things. But Iraq and the Haditha Marines taught us how weak our populace has become. We are no longer ready to suffer for our beliefs. Most Americans would gave if we just brought the good times back. If the CCP invade, most would welcome them with open arms singing songs of affirmation to Karl Marx.
good points on the optics. "we" definitely could __not__ win a war against china. with a bunch of allies, its a maybe, but there's just no way that we could attrite china out of a war unless we do some pretty bad stuff like destroy their dams (that would kill a few million people and literally destroy a huge logistics chain that might kill many others). we do not have the manpower to remove their massive (if less well trained) army and the CCP from active status.
China DOES have farmers, but they buy from us to supplement and because they can trust our quality and our prices, but can't trust their own. Believe you me, if the CCP wanted trustworthy farmers, they would start some kind of FDA over there and people who fail inspections would start disappearing.
Do the SW pilots have a support system? Can we pitch into it?
