"Nobody cares, JR, nobody cares!"

Great, now I'm having flashbacks!

That is a way of saying "Nobody promised you a rose garden," which I learned from my grandma's knee. I get it, when you have your pie in the sky ideas of what the world is you will ALWAYS get smacked in the face by reality. Better to expect the worst, plan for the best and be pleasantly surprised if things work out.

Are you referring to your sergeant, or to your co-host on Blasters and Blades? Pretty sure I've heard Doc say that on occasion . . . 🤷🏻‍♂️

More proof that the Army has fallen. This just continues to add proof to the fact that the Army and military is a bad bet for patriots. We should stop sending them our kids, I am ashamed that I wore the uniform of an Army that has fallen so far. He got screwed by the system caving to the mob. So sad.

If you ever question humanities ability to act evil, in addition to the Stanford Prison Experiment, you should read The Wave by Todd Strasser. It was based on a real experiment. I read this in the 8th grade and it stuck with me.

We all have darkness in us. My best friend's grandfather was a twin. He was a kind, wonderful man who was loved by most.

His twin went back to Germany, joined the SS, and loaded train cars.

There is a story in that worth hearing!

Simple story in a way. My friend's last name starts with "Von", which means his family were high nobles. The father of the twins came to Nebraska in the late 1890s. Fourth son of some hedge nobility, he had few good options and figured he would go to the "new land" to try to build a place for himself. Had a large family, but the two youngest were twin boys.

In an agricultural community, land is wealth and sons are a great help until they mature and want their own stake. The plight of the later sons is a common one. One twin, the one my friend was descended from, met a young lady while working on her father's farm. In the course of time, he married her and worked on her father's farm on the bluff outside of town (ironically, right next to my grandfather's farm, but that is another story).

The other brother was filled with envy. He looked at the "Von" in his name, and new that meant little in the US, and less in Nebraska. He saw the pride his father took in his name. Well, the 30's were a hard time for all. The first brother offered to take him in, and support him. But that "Von" was calling to him. He did not want to live with his brother, scraping out a living, boiling in the summers and freezing in the winters. The house they shared was small (I remember it). Not what a "Von" would accept.

He heard that things had changed back in Germany. A radical young leader had stepped in, improved the economy, and was asking for Germans to "come home". For most, that was a foolish thing to say. Yes, the times were rough. Yes the government was destroying food while people starved, but they had no Kaiser. It is hard to fathom now, but "Kaiser" was a swear word for generations. Someone telling you what to do, where to do it, and that they were better than you only by an accident of birth.

But he WANTED to be Von. Borrowing from his brother, he hopped on the train to New York and then to Germany. He paid is way working first on the docks at Hamburg, then on trains. In due time someone told him just what that "Von" was worth in the New Order. A place in a society of nobles and pure bloods. A place where he could stake out a manor in the East. So that foolish young man joined up. They put his train skills to good use. First in sending supplies East, then in sending undesirables. He realized at some point things were wrong, but supposedly he said "if you are in a pile of crap, it is better to be on the top of the pile." According to legend, he never really repented.

Eventually, after Normandy, he heard that many of his nephews were fighting their way from Normandy to Germany. One day, according to legend, he took a train to the west and was captured by the Americans. He tried to get the attention of some nephews fighting, but they were at the time pushing up through Italy.

After VE day, there was no place for him in Europe. See that "von" had come back to haunt him. When he was released by the allies, he wrote his brother back in Nebraska, asking for money for passage. Which his brother gave him. He stayed with his brother in that same house, now filled with children, for a while.

The SS brother died in the 70's. He did marry and have children, but they didn't stay in the area. Over time, he talked of his experiences. When he died a widower, his brother took what the kids did not want.

One of the things was a full SS uniform. Around 1992, while helping my friend clean out his grandpa's guest room, we found it. My friend stood there in shock. He knew that his great uncle went back to Germany, and I knew my grandfather hated him. It was a secret that the community knew, but in the Code of the Small Town, it wasn't told to the grandkids. There was no point to pass the sins on to the later generations. Most who had moved on.

When the other twin, my friend's grandfather, died the family had no idea of what to do with the uniform. Someone suggested to give it to a museum, and that is what they did. Last I had heard, it was sitting in storage. Kind of a hard to find a place to display it.

A full dress SS uniform of a local man who wanted to be a Noble, and instead helped monsters.

It was the darkest secret of his family.

Now, given all that you've said... have the Alphabet Boys come to visit you yet?

I think we might be Australia in the next 2-3 months the way the demented one is tracking. And while we are sacrificing and resisting they will continue to rob us blind through inflation. Right now at 5%, inflation is cutting our purchasing power and it will be cut in half in 20 years and wages will be kept in check by the current wave of massive illegal immigration and the replacement of entry level jobs by robots which will prevent people from getting their foot in the door to learn the skills they need to grow and advance and make more money. And this will create more pressure to increase immigration (legal or illegal) to bring in more people to fill the holes created by our elites and certain businesses. And to those who can't cope. Well yeah... they want to kill you. And others. Sooner or later this could result in a repeat of history ... say circa France in 1789.

Thanks for podcast. Lots of good points. I vote with my wallet every day. I was a big Coke drinker until they commented on GA voting rights. I'm in Texas but it still pissed me off. Havent had a Coke since.

It will be tough but if we do fail and it all does go to hell, those that supported this insanity have no clue what they are asking for. Imagine that tri-gender unicorn baristas face when he/she/it is conscripted into the new world army.

And that "stay off the internet" is gold. I decided last Saturday morning to only use it for work for a week. Clearly from this comment and joining your signal, I failed but not completely. Got a lot done this week not watching YT, FB and other sites that were sucking up my time. Listened to a few books and podcasts. Focused on family and getting ahead at work.

Re voting: Do you think anybody could take up a case to the courts w/ disparate impact or taxation without representation?

Disconnecting from their economies: I have been doing this for a long time, but it seems that most people don't even think about it.

Making them uncomfortable: not sure exactly how to do this right now. More likely to follow homestead advice than try this because of family situation. I do see a need for some certain people to do some 2am roof repairs though.
