Okay, so when I was in Iraq in 2005 we were escorting a convoy of National Guard 88Ms from Kuwait to BIAP (Baghdad International Airport). One soldier lost a rifle, they'd forgotten it in the latrine. We shut the entire base down until it was found. At the time, BIAP was a major supply hub for the entire theater of war. You read that right, WE SHUT THE WAR DOWN for ONE RIFLE. It took us several hours, but the weapon was found. Sadly, that Specialist lost his rank over the debacle.
Contrast that with what the Biden administration just did in Afghanistan. It is insane!
