I think we'll start to see parallel infrastructure start to spring up if things continue to go the way they are. Parallel economy, new dark net or para-net, low key gun smiths and retailers, speakeasy's will make a strong come back. I think you nailed it, fun prison. Yay!

there are already 2 or 3 payment processors starting up. the first i'm aware of is "align pay", which looks like a controlled opposition to me. next up will be gab's processor. of course, there's always the russian and chinese alternatives, who will gather your data, but don't give a shit about your ideas or politics, they only want to win global hegemony.

Things here in AZ are normalish. Some more masking but not crazy. People are tired of the BS. I have to wear a mask at this job but I don’t mind since I have to go into peoples homes to do this job.

Doesn’t mean I don’t go strapped and have numerous sharp pointy things on my person when I’m not on the job. Even when walking the dogs.

From eastern Iowa.

My wife teaches in Illinois. Started Monday. It is a mess, but honestly the school district is trying to keep up.

In Iowa? Yeah. Hot mess. Teachers are going to walk out if they are forced to work.

Had a doc visit today. There are covid cases. But Doc said that no serious cases. Some with the jab, many with out. But those who had covid previously appear to be protected. Masks are popping up but not every where. Feel is "F around and find out" if lock downs come back.

Some are wanting to F around.

Oh, and when you are down to the last mag on the tower, after you say "I told you so!" to SWM, have your last mug of coffee and enjoy the ride. We may lose the round, but we know Who won the battle.

I am not from quiet, docile, people. My people have been kicked out of every country in Europe. The Swedes kicked us out for drinking and fighting. The Prussians before they started wearing funny eye pieces and marching funny. I doubt I'm going to the fun prison.

Oh. 4 suicides now.

Regarding the local weather.. Here in NC they are pretty much leaving masks in schools up to the county so far, but we have a dipshit governor so that may change. I've seen more people wearing masks than they were a month ago. Looks like some stores have started making employees wear them again. In a county near us they started a door-to-door campaign to Vax. I stocked up a couple of days ago and will continue to slowly add supplies over the next few weeks.

Update well things are getting a little weird. The UNC university system has announced all students be either vaxed or get tested weekly or "more frequently". Maybe they'll make the tests more painful too!

Pepper spray is much more effective than wasp spray. My dept used Sabre red because they had the strongest mixture available. Since you don’t have to go hands on after you spray them, the foam is a good choice.
