Go check the coffee commodity prices this year. Sky high! When my coffee supply is threatened then it's time to get down to some serious bidness. What would you trade for a pound of arabica? The supply is so broken it is hard to imagine. Rather than food, let's talk about another staple, that everyone sees every day.
Paint.
Something so basic it is hard to think about.
Paint is, in the whole, gone.
My supplier is saying it is because of the Texas freeze destroyed a lot of the plants. Which it did. But we import paint. That is gone also.
So I can make my product. But it can't be sold because of no paint. Which means no road work. Slows building construction, and it not helping the lack of supply of cars.
Boys and girls, being honest with you (and after some great night shift coffee), things are not looking good. I am not really sure what things will look like next year, but the supply chain is draining the tank and nothing is pouring into it.
Learn to cook. Learn to cut your own meat. Because the people that do it are not doing it any more. Maybe they don't want to work, maybe they don't have boxes. But the grocery stores are limiting what they put on the shelves. The warehouses that should be filling up with stuff for fall and winter stock are pretty empty.
Now, for the delta variant, the narrative is breaking down. Three weeks ago it was "Well, some breakthrough cases will happen but it is very small portion of the total vaxed." Now? "You will still get Covid with the jab, but that is OK. It means it is working!"
Running with the opposite rule, I think the next step is 'Well, the reason the vaccinated are getting sick is from the unvaxed!"
the rich and powerful flock to the party of shills and liars because they are promised power. this is not simply an ideological war, but a spiritual war -- there is only one power that can broker the world and power over it.
