Hamlin thing is insane and has the Dover hallmarks all over it. It is almost like the NFL is terrified to admit that the man is dead. Like they have control over that kind of thing. Like the players are their property.
Many moons ago, I had a college acquaintance that called sports chattel slavery because of who was being taken advantage of. I thought he was nuts, since he had tutors, women, and a lot of bennies a poor engineering student did not have access to. Difference is once he got hurt, he was dumped like a used kleenix. All those people who were around him supporting him dumped him as soon as he couldn't play.
Honestly, at first I was a little suspect about Tiffany Dover actually being dead. After the "Damar Hamlin" video I've come around to believe that both are gone. Another red pill for me I guess. Thanks for the podcast.
