Don't get to comment as much as I like too, but keep it up.

On the torture killing, remember that we Americans do not know how to hate like the Slavs do. We are to young to have the practice down. That is, imo a great thing.

I have been following the events grim various sources, and while I do not like the Russians they are trying to fight clean. The Ukraine is trying to get support for using WMDs .

There are no good guys there.

On the slap. It is either staged or Smith is heading for a Quaid level breakdown

You got free from FB, stay free. It's a subtle hook but a nasty one for it.

I’m fully realizing that now

Godspeed Chaos Actual, I don't think I'm alone in saying that where you go i'll follow.

I'm mostly free of Facebook, i didn't download it when i got my new phone, and only go on occasionally to look at marketplace. Getting off that "tap the app and scroll" hook was allot like quitting smoking, you feel like you're missing something and don't know what to do with your hands, but it gets better after the first few days.

So I am on my third account on FB, seems my first account I got a bit uhmm radical back in 2017 and said something about uhmm Obama that really upset the FB crowd, and boom no more account. On top of that they had started banning me for memes from two years earlier because they were offensive. Same memes I found on Facebook. So new account a few days later, that one lasted till Dec 2017, so eight months, before I a comment about Hiliary got me ban and then I was a bit ticked so I re-posted same said comment and boom account gone.

So I am on my third, and now I just share news articles, military pictures, cars and some funny memes, and hang out in a few groups. Plus, I limited my number of friends and that alone helped with a lot of the issues going away. Odd that.

Lighten up Francis LOL. But seriously, classic rant at the end - Loved it! ...and any soldier pulling that stuff should be put down (Harmony Church 87) but I cannot help but wonder if that isn't just a western intelligence agency op to dump gasoline on the fire.

Lots going on with this podcast. FB asked you to bend the knee for your protection and used the verification that it was you, to ban you. Shocking.

I'm glad you have this fallback. Let us know if you decide to try some other platforms. Eventually one will stick and FB will go the way of Myspace.

I liked Will Smith based on his movies. Then I watched his Youtube channel and realized he's a messed up puppy. Lots of ugly he tries to keep bottled up and fails to do when a camera is on him longer than he's used to. So, I think the slap was real.

Rock's reaction was about the same as everyone else. Did "Nice Guy" Will just smack me. He's not a nice guy.

Regarding the torture, not only is it unprofessional, not only is it inhuman and evil, it's also stupid.

If soldiers know they'll be shot in the genitals while their captors film it with their own phones so it can be sent to their mothers, it isn't going to make them want to surrender. Word is Russian officers are already using these videos to tell their troops, 'this is what will happen to you if you're dumb enough to surrender. Better to fight to the death, no?'

Contrast this with the humanitarian corridor tactic used by Russia both in Ukraine and Syria. Not only does this enable civilians to escape becoming collateral damage - always a good PR move - it also wears away at the enemy will to fight. Soldiers seeing civvies being allowed to evacuate as the other side keeps to their word and refrains from opening fire, are more likely to think, hey maybe I could slip into that mass of fleeing civilians tomorrow. So a few desert, and their comrades notice, and the next day a few more desert, and before you know it the combat effectiveness of the unit has been drastically reduced.

Sometimes mercy isn't just the morally right thing to do, it's also the tactically correct move.

Nick, they will provide you with iron clad evidence. I don’t see how you’re going to be able to tell difference.

I'm quite happy to admit that I'm inclined to support Russia in this conflict. They've got a reasonable casus belli, but more importantly, they're giving the GAE the nastiest black eye it's seen in a long time ... and if the financial trap they've lured the occupational class currently squatting in Washington into works out, they may well successfully bring the GAE down entirely. In the long run that would be a very good thing for everyone, Americans very much included.

People forget that the Russo-Ukrainian War is an Eastern European war and basically a brother war. Remember when Yugoslavia fell apart? Everybody was screaming that the Yugoslavs and the Serbs were committing war crimes. And yes, they were. But then we also found out that their opponents were doing the same thing. Same holds true in the Russo-Ukrainian war, same would hold true in a Hungarian-Romanian war.

Eastern European wars are not a gentlemanly affair. Never have been.
