Best video game I have played lately is hands down Disco Elysium, it’s on sale right now on Steam for $15.00. It’s a point and click detective story about a drunken cop that wakes up with a nasty hangover and has to solve a murder. DND/RPG style psychological system that drives the action. The narration very excellently voice acted. Had me hooked for a week straight, made me think about it when I wasn’t playing it, hasn’t happened with a video game for me since I was a kid. The people that wrote it are obviously solipsistic Nihilist Commies, and some of the story reflect this, but so so good.
Oh and although the new movie Moon fall has some ok content, there is definitely some serious great reset vibes to it. I so freaking hate the politicization of movies.
"Center to Counter Digital Hate" sounds like the SPLC and the ADL had a crack baby.
Games? Plenty of good ones, but one of the best more modern ones is Rimworld. It's great in vanilla, but there are thousands of mods. I just love having a colony full of psychopath cannibals who make enemies everywhere, including Chaos from 40k and Star Wars's Galactic Empire (mods make it possible), just to have an unending food supply harvested from raiders.
Lately my go to time waster is Stellaris. Grand space strategy game. Like all Paradox games, you don't ever get good at it, you just get addicted. Made a mod of the House of Reason, The Legion, MCR, the Black Empire, and the Wobonki as playable civilizations. Didn't work out quite right.
I've been playing the old tower defense games Toy Soldier and Toy Soldier Cold war. I saw one of my son's friends beat a few of my high scores and that cannot stand. lol

Space invaders.... Asteroids..... And Dig Dug. Probably my all time fav arcade games.
Loved the Dug

Nice!
James Clavell wrote SHOGUN
And Tai-Pan, Gaijin, and a few more. His Asian Saga is epic.
Though the Japanese used in Shogun is awful and often grammatically wrong.
