Storytime! Nick's comment about his "Nazi" encounter reminded me of this:
About 10 years ago, I was sitting with my brothers in our college cafeteria. I had just started grad school. Several people we knew had come to sit with us. One of these guys, (name redacted), was a German-American. At this particular encounter, he was trying to convince everyone to adopt his particular diet. My brother and I were both getting quite fed up. I then looked at my brother and asked, "What's another name for an 'angry German'?" My brother paused for a second, then replied, "A Sauerkraut!"
You either enjoy the theater of the absurd or you star in said theater. Many Germans do not have a sense of humor. Many do. Might be why they kicked my people out first.
Too few people have honestly and realistically embraced the horror of what is happening. God help us all it is a horror to behold. We've reached a temporary truce from the liberals but the war will still rage. As someone married to a liberal I feel alone frequently. My brother and father see the horror to varying degrees but not the true monstrous conditions we will be left in for the globalists to "save" when they're done.
Yes we have a temporary reprieve but they are still in power and still have a plan I'm sure.... Things ended abruptly for them with the pandemic... They will come at us again be assured. I wish all my brothers and sister(s) here all the best. Be with God my friends.
We are heading to a historically interesting place. I am reading a lot about the run up to the Civil War. The slavery issue was set at the founding, and the divide only grew. Families were divided, friends on both sides, a mess. We are in a similar place. I honestly know many well meaning folks who are convinced they have to start killing all the "MAGA"people in order to make themselves feel safe. When I tell them "Well, that is me too!" The look of shock sometimes over rides their bias. And, sometimes I never talk or see those folks again.
This is going to end well. The only question is if it will end bloody.

Very true. I'm mostly English, though I have some Irish and Dutch. I've made it a policy to not get offended. If you can't laugh it, just ignore it.
