Don't forget someone paid for the weapons from the Vegas shooting to be melted down a week after the event...and the LVPD allowed it.

Whaaaaaat? Woah, I never knew that.

It was mentioned about a week after the events, seen it on several sites.

This is not true, you need to actually read the article, not just the headline and then make up your own idea because you obviously suck at it. The content of the article demonstrates this very easily. Blame the mirror, not the messenger.

I did read it.

Anyone else who reads it knows that either 1) That is not true or 2) You were just trying to spin shit up. Probably both. We don't need that, it's counterproductive. It says very clearly that the guns concerned were others from his estate, not those he had the night of the shootings. If you did read the article, how did you miss that? Metro has enough sins to answer for without making stuff up. You tried to imply that the guns he used that night were the ones someone bought so they could have them destroyed, that is incorrect and the article makes that clear so either you didn't read it or you can't read, take your pick.

Okay, first of, the article says ALL of his firearms, and CNN did state ON television that included the weapons from the shooting. So I am not sure what your issue is, but how about you step and stop going off on me, I shared what is out there. You seem to be acting like it's a pesonal afront on you, why is that?

Second whether or not you agree with the article or conclusions drawn from doesn't give you a green light to attack someone over it. Bottomline the whole thing has been memory holded and the actual truth is never going to come out. Which was the whole point of things spoken about in the podcast. You seem to have some issues about the subject that you need to work through.

CNN is not a source for jack shit. YOU did not say "all his firearms" YOU said "the weapons from the Vegas shooting to be melted down a week after the event...and the LVPD allowed it." Don't play fucking coy about what that statement means now that you get called on it. The fact that you watch/quote CNN......My issue is when you open your cake hole you should probably be right, you "sharing what was out there" LOL is not an excuse not to make sure what you post is accurate, most especially for something like this. Why? Because I hate people who can't get it right and deign to "inform"/share with others. I haven't attacked you, the fact that you say so does not make it true. Actually, it gives me a green fucking light to jump dead in your shit with both boots when you post something inflammatory, defamatory (we have no need to make up stuff about Metro) and FACTUALLY INCORRECT. You flat out stated that Metro allowed the guns used in the shooting to be melted down a week later. You don't read and if you do, you don't comprehend. Not in this instance anyway. LMMFAO, the whole thing has not been any such thing, the truth IS already out. Reread the article. Slowly.

We can only hope. Times are so sordid that even the multitude of scandals involving them are quickly forgotten.

Nick and I have discussed it & are willing to fight to the death if it comes to that.

BTW, Florida is always welcoming of people, so long as you love freedom, come on in. Miami is expensive but it's nice, but the best places are in the outskirts of the cities where you get the benefits of both worlds.

The Smear the Queer game was banned at my elementary school after two kids got concussions from the tackling, well more like running into each other head first.

That reference brings me back. I was slow, but strong. My record was 20 yards with half the boys in my school trying to bring me down. One of my broken bones came from a smear the queer game. I tried to hide I had cracked ribs till my grandfather figured it out.

Good times.

One thing about the Las Vegas shooting is that it sounded off to me, more like full auto fire. I mentioned to a buddy of mine who was in the army at the time and he said that it sounded like an m240b just by the rate of fire.

Question for the group. The Vegas shootha supposedly used all .223 caliber rifles. Listening to the old videos (when they were still public), I thought a few of the shots sounded more like a 7.62. Not military, but after a life time of being around guns that stuck out to me.

Reading comprehension Eric. And quit making shit up, it doesn't help.. They are not talking about the guns he used in the shooting......they are talking about other guns he had, back at the house, whatever, comprising part of his estate. LVMPD never did what you say they did, they were too busy trying to cover up the fact that there was an armed uniformed on duty LVMPD Officer in the stairwell one floor up the whole time, he and a couple of security officers hung out there until it was all over.

Who is making up stuff Josey? It is a conclusion drawn, if you don't like it, don't read it. Are you a member of the LVPD? Can you prove they didn't do anything with the weapons? Whatever every your issues are you need to work them out. Also, why would someone pay for his weapons to be melted down, that is the point here, not anything else. That alone should be raising MORE questions, but instead, it has you attacking me because you feel that your point of view on this is the only one allowed.

Expand full comment

You are. With what, a crayon? What color? No, I am not, you couldn't pay me enough, especially these days. Never been a Police Officer. I did arrest one at gun point once but that was a long time ago and it's a story for another time....I don't have to disprove something just because you say it. By that principle you could waste my time all day. No. If I had to guess, (and it is an informed one) I would say ATF has the guns he was in possession of that day. They would have been in their custody as part of the investigation and relevant lab work anyway with no reason to leave. They will never be destroyed any more than was Oswald's Carcano. You keep talking about "issues", it's a catch phrase for you, like "being attacked", (poor dear) you've used both expressions more than once......it is not my POV we are talking about, I don't have one here , I quote only the information contained in the article. It is you that has a notional POV different from what the rest of us are reading in that article you say you read, that you feel must be accepted regardless of actual veracity. There's a lot of that going around these days.
