If you get pinched by the feds or any other police, the only thing you should say is "I want my lawyer." If you remain silent and don't say anything at all, that's not good enough. You have to affirmatively invoke your right to counsel.

I'm a lawyer, but I'm not your lawyer. This isn't legal advice. This is free content on the internet. Legal advice is something you pay for.

Extremists - one more example of the Left accusing everyone else of what they are most guilty of themselves. I guess if you are tilted so extremely left, then from that perspective then even the middle looks extreme, and anything right of the middle even more so.

I'd suggest for all--and especially people with big mouths such as you or me....collect e-mail addresses... build up the mailing list... it's the only long term strategy that makes sense. I'm doing it. It's a fallback.

Facebook has taken notes on history and the Stasi... the East German secret police had a few percent of the population as informants - often framed in such a way as to a way to "help" relatives who are against the state see the wrongness of their beliefs, etc.

I am going to date myself, but remember Echelon? That 90's "conspiracy" theory? Well, it existed, and was supplanted by other systems.

It is why when I log into my home computer I get adds for work equipment, even though I don' t go to sights at work that should link to my home accounts.

My point is, they know you, they know me. Probably better than we do ourselves. Leaving FB might help, but they have everything else tagged and cross linked.

Still sir, and I mean this, if you go grey I will pray you enjoy your life here and will look you up in the life after. I appreciate your books and your podcasts, but we are going into the night lands.

Blue skies and God speed.

The Left is vindictively petty, compared to how long-suffering and patient normal Americans tend to be. But, God is long-suffering and patient, and we on the Right tend to believe in Him. Those on the Left are doing the Devil's bidding, and he's the pettiest, most butthurt "I'm the specialest guy who ever lived" being to exist.

And, yes, I 100% recommend getting off of Facebook! I left that cesspool about 5 years ago (?). Completely deleted my account. I've never once regretted it.

Out of curiosity, are the same people who warned you that the Patriot Act might be used against you the same people now eager to use it against you?
