I love the podcast, when you guys put one out it's always a highlight of my day.
I have a family member with special needs, he will, so far as I understand, never be more than 3 or 4 mentally, he is the most pure and loving soul I've ever met on this earth, and we are Blessed by his presence here, with a capital B.
As the dad of a special needs kid... they have their moments. Sadly, they're more of a sponge than normal kids so they can be easily corrupted. You see this when leftist activist parents weaponize their kids for clout.
did the old school sarge go by 'sir' or was she a 'maam'?
the vax videos are interesting but i would like to see an analysis by a microbiologist or SEM technician. I'm no expert on microorganisms or nanomachines, so seeing a super-zoom SEM picture or hearing the opinion of someone whose job it is to look at that stuff regularly would be awesome.
also where was that chart that had the corporation ownership tree?
Nick said she was called by her rank since she was an NCO.
I agree on the vax videos, but am extremely interested to see the Project Veritas one about it that’s supposedly coming out since maybe that will include some analysis of that nature.
And I was having trouble last night finding the corporate ownership video, since it’s been awhile since we watched it, but I’m pretty sure I found it this morning: https://youtu.be/D2t4u_tEefM
ok after watching and not just listening, i'm iffy on this.
I don't know anything about blackrock except that they are bad news.
as i understand it, vanguard is *mostly* americans who are forced to put money into a sponsored retirement fund. I would have to check to see where most of the money in vanguard is, but the founder was all about indeces, basically democratizing market access and skimming less than the average fund manager to operate at massive scale with very little to no "fund manager overhead/loss".
it is correct that there is screwed up or amorally greedy incentive when ownership is abstract an automated, but i am relatively sure that vanguard is no blackrock. the primary owners of vanguard may be another story altogether. they will be making billions yearly in fees, just because of the sheer scale of the operation, not because they're manipulating the market or anything.
I like what you said about "being a man." I work in a college community, and a sizeable percentage of the students are employed by the college. So many of these young men have no idea how to treat women, even their girlfriends! For example, the dormitories are segregated by gender . . . it's a private, Christian school. I can't tell you how many times I've seen girls walking guys back to their dorms. When I've seen it, and I'm with my own children, I've told my son that's not how a man behaves. He doesn't make the girl walk back alone. And I tell my daughter, if any guy tries to make her "escort" him, she should dump him! My opinions may be unpopular, but I'm old-fashioned. And I make no apologies for it!
Masculine women and feminine men is by design. You can't have that much soy (read estrogen) in everything without knowing this would happen. I think that this was their intent all along.
I can remember watching one of the earlier MCU movies (maybe the 1st Captain America movie?) with my father-in-law. One of the better ones. My son was maybe a year-and-a-half old. He's sitting in my lap totally engrossed in the movie. My wife jokingly tells him that she's not going to let him watch superheroes or GI Joe or Transformers when he gets older. Before anyone can say anything else, her Dad says, "Oh really? We'll see about that." It's so very important to raise boys to be Men.
Agreed, we need to teach boys to become men. The trope of the SFC (strong female character) is okay, but you can't do it at the expense of the strong male character. How else do we raise balanced children who learn to be better children? Someone needs to resurrect the Heinlein Juveniles model to train up our kids with wholesome media options.
100% on both counts! Since my daughter is a couple of years older than my son, and she can already read, my wife has been very busy with getting good books for her to read. I'm looking forward to my son getting older and getting to share more of my books with him, including Galaxy's Edge! He will beg me to watch the trailer for Season 2. I don't know how many times he's seen it by now.
Do you consider Starship Troopers to be one of Heinlein's juveniles? I'd love to get some of his books for my son, but I want to be careful, since some of his books are very much NOT kid-friendly.
Starship Troopers isn't one of his juveniles, but it was a good philosophical treatise about life and morality. I'll link his kids stuff, but Space Cadet was the one that stuck with me the most.

That is awesomeness. Thank you.

Burns me up when I see kids used for any kind of agenda, left or right!
I agree, it was hard to watch the kid with autism singing that I WORSHIP FAUCI song at that hospital. Total cringe and I feel for this kid.

That's demonic.
Agreed
What you're describing sounds like the prelude of the savages but just here on good'ol big blue.

Yes, when she said there would be more on PV i was sad but hopeful they would enlist some professional analysis for help.
Thanks for the video :) I gotta head to work but I might rip it and store it on our NAS later.

The world needs more people like you!
Most people would say the opposite 🤣

I read Starship Troopers many MANY years ago in college. I remember enjoying it a lot. Thanks for the list! I'll be looking into it.
