I have not been buying much of anything other than needed items, and those just in case things, like medical supplies, ammo, you know the important stuff. Not a $100 TV.

I followed the guy with Missing 411 for a while. But it never rang right to me. Finding people who died of hypothermia naked isn't odd. It is when the body shuts off blood flow to the extremities in order to survive.
It is also VERY easy to get lost in the woods, and never be found. I have heard 2nd Lts do it all the time.
But about his son, that is sad and does ring true. In my circle there are a number of people who died suddenly, and the family strongly suspected suicide.
My wife and I have decided this year we are buying EDC / preparedness items for ourselves and our young adult kids. Essentially, self-defense, medical, sewing kits, ammo, etc.
Nice to hear from y’all. Been noticing the feeling in the air lately really does feel like people have been prepped and waiting for the next “thing.” Like waiting in the lobby at the dentist.
Despite what's happening, what may come, and what we may need to do, we remain of peace and good spirit, because we are blessed with the knowledge of our final end, and that we are righteously indignant, not simply jealous or vengeful., and this season is a timely reminder. Merry Christmas and thanks for getting one out during this very busy time of year.
